In general, about the coronavirus

Symptoms of Coronavirus (COVID-19):

  • The most common symptoms are fever, fatigue and dry cough.
  • Some patients may also experience muscle pain, nasal congestion, runny nose, sore throat, diarrhea or severe shortness of breath.
  • There are infected people who do not develop any symptoms or feel sick, but still carry the virus.

The above symptoms do not necessarily mean that someone has Coronavirus (COVID-19) disease.

Symptoms are similar to other, more common, diseases such as colds and flu.

Prevention

  • Avoid direct contact with a person who may be carrying the virus, eg; recently visited foreign infected area!
  • Wash your hands frequently, for at least 20 seconds. Clean your hands and hands with preferably soapy water or a hand disinfectant with a minimum alcohol content of 60%.
  • If you cough or sneeze, cover your nose and mouth with a tissue if possible, then discard the tissue immediately and wash your hands or use a hand sanitizer.
  • Avoid people with cough and respiratory symptoms (looking sick), as well as large crowds and events.
  • It is recommended that you pay special attention to boosting and maintaining your immune system, eg. with regular intake of vitamins, vegetables and fruits!
